Life is messy. Life is chaotic. Life can also be broke as hell. And sometimes… it feels like no one wants to talk about it. But here at Planned Mess, we believe every messy, awkward, or downright painful moment deserves a little spotlight.
That’s why we’re launching a new blog series: “Broke $urvival.”
This isn’t about bragging or sugar-coating. This is about real stories that bring raw, honest, and sometimes hilarious truths about the most vulnerable moments of our lives.
Think: overdraft nightmares, ramen-only weeks, the “oops I spent my rent on coffee” confessions, or that time you survived on nothing but sheer creativity and determination.
Why We’re Doing This
Because being broke isn’t a crime. It’s a stage in life. And there’s power in sharing these stories:
Connection: You’re not alone. Others have been there, survived, and thrived.
Empowerment: Telling your story takes courage and inspires someone else to keep going.
Community: We’re building a safe, supportive space where messes, money troubles, and all kinds of chaos are welcome.
